I have finally decided to
not give the Christmas operation any more thought, as plans seem to
change daily, with constantly differing work schedules and
conflicting personalities. In order to prevent a complete nervous
breakdown, I thought it best to delay any more plan-making until
closer to the time, and I feel much better now!
We had quite a scare last week though, as my Mum was rushed back
into hospital with heart palpitations. Thank goodness, she has been
stabilised and is now out, but we're all a bit worried as to
whether she will be allowed to fly over from Florida in December-
another good reason why the plans are on hold. Mum had her first
heart problem this time last year, and it was a very worrying
period, especially with her living so far away. It's not as if
we can drive over to see her, and relying on phone contact can be
pretty nerve wracking. Fingers crossed that she'll be fit
enough to fly.
