Action For Kids

What they do:

Work with children who have physical and learning disabilities and their families by providing them with mobility equipment and offering various support services to enable children to lead a full life.

To provide around ten disabled young people, up to the age of 26, with specialist mobility equipment not available on the NHS. These range from simple trikes to powered wheelchairs. They are given to people on a permanent loan scheme, meaning the charity covers the cost of maintaining and servicing the equipment.
