Candis Big Give project:
Hundreds of children suffer strokes every year in the UK and approximately half have an underlying medical condition that increases their risk of having another. The money raised in the Candis Big Give will pay for materials and equipment needed for a research study, which aims to develop a blood test that would identify which children are likely to have further strokes.
