Support patients and promote research into four rare brain diseases.
Candis Big Give project:
To fund a research grant that will expand neuroacanthocytosis (NA) research to help uncover the causes of devastating diseases such as Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, obsessive-compulsive disorder and schizophrenia. Like NA, these are a degeneration of the basal ganglia in the deep centre of the brain that regulates movement and emotions.
