Educate children with complex physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties.
Candis Big Give project:
The charity is establishing a residential and day centre for adults aged 19-25 with complex physical and learning disabilities. The centre will help them prepare their life skills for living in the community, such as cooking, hygiene and money management. The money raised in the Candis Big Give will fit out and equip the Life Skills facility at the centre, including ‘raise and lower’ sinks and work tops plus sensor-operated taps. It will also fund items needed for the cafe, including a specially adapted kitchen, and tables and chairs.
