Provide support and information to young people with heart conditions and their families so they can live life to the full.
Candis Big Give project:
Buying 100 home-testing machines for children with heart defects to reduce hospital visits. Most children with heart conditions have to make regular trips to hospital for blood tests, which can disrupt schooling, force parents to take time off work and cause childcare issues for siblings. The home-testing machines allow blood to be taken via a simple finger-prick procedure, and are provided as part of a package that includes training and guidance from a medical expert.
