What they do:
Aim to provide state-of-the-art imaging for cancer diagnosis, raise awareness of cancers, facilitate cancer screening programmes, fund medical research and provide training courses for health experts.
Candis Big Give project:
To fund specialist imaging software, which would enable a new scanner to capture 3D images of the bowel. This is a vital tool for the early detection of bowel cancer and the planning of appropriate treatment. It will be used by at least 400 patients a year, increasing their chance of survival.
