What they do:
Provide care and support to people affected by osteoporosis and improve public awareness of the disease, which causes fragile bones.
Candis Big Give project:
Funding a nurse to work full time on a helpline for six months. The nurse will provide information for patients to help them manage the disease and avoid falls, which could prove fatal. They will also provide helpful information for relatives and health professionals on all aspects of osteoporosis and keeping bones healthy.
