What they do:
Support the victims of serious road collisions.
Candis Big Give project:
Providing free emotional and practical support to people in Hertfordshire whose loved ones have been killed in a road collision. The money will pay for a trained volunteer to give one-to-one support to 16 people in 2012 on at least a weekly basis for as long as required. The cost also includes supporting victims with any court hearings plus the clinical supervision of the volunteers to allow them to cope with this highly demanding and emotionally challenging work.
