The money will be used to help fund a clinical trial attempting to establish the efficiency and safety of a potential new therapy. If successful, it would prove a significant breakthrough and have life-changing implications for people living with Parkinson’s disease, which is a neurological condition that affects around 120,000 people in the UK.

"My mum suffered form parkinson's for a number of years it was heartbreaking to see her but she battled with it and the specialist she went to was a great man and tried with all his people when they were all at the monthly meeting group all the nurses also were great so considerate and understanding on all their problems with moving etc."
