Collins, 45, found fame playing Cindy Beale in BBC1's
EastEnders. Since leaving the soap in 1998, she has gone on to play
roles including Karina Faith in the ITV1 drama series Rock Rivals.
She lives in London with her daughter Maia, 12, and their dog,

What's your earliest memory?
Throwing eggs my mum had just bought out of my
pram. I was two and remember my mum laughing when someone said,
"Your little boy is throwing eggs."
If you could go back in time, what advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
I wish I had listened more to older people. My mum wanted me to go to university, but I went straight into acting after doing a drama course and an A-level in English literature, at college. I am encouraging my daughter Maia to go on to higher education.
