Sue Perkins, 40, found fame in comedy duo Mel & Sue, has presented The Big Food Fight and The Supersizers Eat... and is involved with the Love Food, Hate Waste campaign
If you could go
back in time, what advice would you give your 16-year-old
self?
Don't wear a bat-wing jumper. It was the 80s and I somehow
managed to get photographed every single time I wore it - humans
and bats are not a sartorial marriage made in heaven. Oh, and
don't let your mother cut your hair.
Who would attend your dream dinner party?
Everyone always says Stephen Fry but I'd invite all his
relatives instead. His cousins, his aunties and uncles; I'd
want to find out what they were like, and give them a moment in the
spotlight for once.
What's your earliest memory?
The birth of my sister. It was a Sunday morning and Dad said,
"She's here!" I got into my school uniform because I
thought that was what you wore on important occasions. I remember
holding her, and just being completely obsessed by her. I wanted to
play with her all the time.
