Whether you agree with every word they write, are amazed at
their ideas, or want to laugh along with them, our three regular
columnists are must-reads. Each has their own area of expertise,
but all are lively, controversial and original thinkers.
Denise
Robertson - Ask me anything!
Denise Robertson's TV career began in 1984 on
BBC's Breakfast Time, before she joined This
Morning in 1988 - she is now approaching her 21st
year on the programme. During her time as resident agony aunt, she
has received over 200,000 letters detailing the problems that
afflict ordinary people, many of which she has experienced herself.
She has written 18 novels, is the patron of more than 30 charities
including the Bubble Foundation and, in 2006, was awarded an MBE in
recognition of her services to broadcasting and charity. She has
recently joined the Candis team and is always on hand to offer her
sage advice.

In my
opinion
At Candis we believe opinions matter
that's why, each month, a familiar-faced contributor will write
for Candis about an issue close to their heart. In March, Janet
Ellis points out how we, as a nation, have become ruder and, over
the coming months, Loose Women's Kaye Adams speaks up about
dying with dignity, while Ingrid Tarrant has her say on
vegetarianism. We'll also be welcoming back Polly Toynbee as an
occasional contributor . Read the latest In my opinion article.
LAURIE
GRAHAM, journalist and acclaimed novelist, focuses a
gimlet eye on life (and in particular family life). The foibles of
friends, relatives, small children and even Italian dentists
(Laurie lives part-time in Venice) are dissected with accuracy and
laugh-aloud humour.
