Rules for Competitions/Giveaways and Free Draws
RULES FOR MAGAZINE COMPETITIONS, GIVEAWAYS AND DAILY PRIZES
Please read the following rules carefully, as failure to comply could result in the disqualification of your entries.
1) Only one entry per competition/ giveaway/website daily prize is allowed per entrant.
2) Entries to competitions/giveaways should be sent unless otherwise stated, to:
Candis Competitions/Giveaways, (date of issue), PO Box 10, Hoylake, Wirral CH47 4DT.
3) Fill all competition and giveaway entries on the form. No other correspondence, on any subject whatsoever, may be enclosed with your entries.
4) Except where specifically stated, the winner(s) will be the first correct entry or entries drawn after the closing date.
5) The closing date for competitions/giveaways in the last day of the issue month unless otherwise stated. Winners will be notified within 28 days of the closing date. The judges' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
6) No responsibility can be accepted for circumstances outside the company¹s control, including any third party's ability to supply the prizes as published. No cash alternatives can be offered. Prizes are not transferable.
7) Entries will be processed and entrants' details may be made available to our partners or selected companies. If you object to this, please ring our customer service team on 0800 814 5400 or write to Mailing Preference, Candis Club, Freepost LV5812, Newhall Lane, Hoylake, Wirral CH47 4YZ.
8) Proof of posting is not accepted as proof of delivery. No responsibility can be taken for any entries delayed, damaged, or wrongly delivered.
9) Phone entries cost 5p a minute any time from anywhere in the UK unless otherwise stated. Price based on calls made from a BT landline, call charges from other networks may vary and mobile phones may be considerably higher. Please check with your network provider for more details.
10) Entry into any Candis competition/giveaway/free draw/website daily prize implies acceptance of these rules. 2) You must be registered and logged in to enter the competitions/giveaways/daily prizes. Click the 'Enter' button for the competition/giveaway you wish to enter and your entry will be automatically be logged.
3) Except where specifically stated, the winner(s) will be the first correct entry or entries randomly selected after the closing date.
4) Winners will be notified within 28 days of the closing date. The judges' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
5) No responsibility can be accepted for circumstances outside the company's control, including any third parties ability to supply the prizes as published. No cash alternatives can be offered. Prizes are not transferable.
6) Competitions/giveaways/daily prizes are open to Candis magazine readers resident in the UK and ROI, excluding employees or agents or representatives of Newhall Publications Ltd and their immediate families.
7) Winners must agree to the publication of their name, photograph and home town in Candis, on its website or any publicity material produced. Winners' lists (containing name and home town only) are available by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Competitions Department, Newhall Publications Ltd, Newhall Lane, Hoylake, Wirral, CH47 4BQ, clearly stating which competition and month are required.

FREE PRIZE DRAW RULES
1) For the Lucky Draw all winning numbers are published in Candis Magazine or can be obtained by writing to: Free Draw Claims, Candis Club (The Club), Newhall Lane, Hoylake, Wirral, CH47 4BQ, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope.
2) Participation in Free Draws is open to all members of Candis Club and to non-members who request a free draw number in writing to the address in Rule 1 or register at candis.co.uk/draws&comps. Participation is dependent on the registration of participants with Candis Club. Registration means that the entrants’ name and address is recorded in the records of Candis Club, together with a Lucky Draw number and that the entrant is the holder of a valid Lucky Draw number. For members the Lucky Draw number and membership number are the same. Non-member free draw numbers are valid for 3 months, after which entrants must apply to renew their numbers using the registration process.
3) Entrants who hold winning numbers to the Lucky/Super Draw must register their claim for a prize with the Club. All winning Lucky Draw numbers are printed in Candis magazine each month or can be checked online www.candis.co.uk/luckydraw. Jackpot prize numbers can also be checked by telephoning the Club's prize draw line on 0844 545 8190. Winning claims can be made either in writing to the address given above or by telephoning the prize draw line or by emailing fpdclaim@candis.co.uk and registering the claimant's details. Any claim made, either in writing or on the prize draw line, must include the entrant’s full name and address and free draw number. Should these details not correspond with the records held by the Club, then the claim will not be paid. For the Lucky Draw all claims must be made before the last day of the month printed on the cover of the issue of Candis magazine in which the draw appears. Any prize not claimed within the periods above is automatically forfeited to the Club and then ceases to be payable to the prize winner. An exception to this will occur for each Super Draw and other occasional Free Draws, thereby the Club will notify the jackpot prize winner(s) only that they have won.
4) Claims lost, delayed or damaged in any way cannot be accepted as valid claims. Proof of posting cannot be accepted as proof of receipt. The Club does not accept any responsibility for such loss, delay or damage. Any claim made on the telephone prize draw line that is incomplete or unclear is invalid. No employee or agent or representative of the Club, nor any other person acting on its behalf, is authorised to receive such claims at any place other than at the address shown at Rule 1 above.
5) The Club may from time to time, at its discretion and without any prior notice (1) vary or limit the amount of prize money allocated to a Free Prize Draw and the amount of each prize to be given and/or (2) vary or limit the number or prize winning numbers drawn in a Free Draw and/or (3) change these rules, in each case so as to apply to a Free Draw either before or after a draw for the Prize winners has taken place, but not so as to affect prizes previously paid.
6) The Club may from time to time, and at its discretion and without any prior notice cancel a Free Draw or any category of prize in a Free Draw (and so that such cancellation may apply to a Free Draw whether or not the draw for the Prize winners has already taken place) to the intent that no prize monies shall be payable in respect of that Free Draw or in respect of a category of prize in a Free Draw, provided however that this power of cancellation shall not be exercised so as to affect prejudicially prizes previously paid or prizes in a category not intended to be cancelled.
7) The Club reserves the right to publish in Candis Magazine and elsewhere winning entries in any Free Draw, including the name, address and photograph of any winners.
8) No employee or agent or representative of the Club or employee of Newhall Publications Ltd., its associate, holding or subsidiary companies, may participate in any Free Draw.
9) No correspondence can be entered into concerning any Free Draw.
10) Participation in any Free Draw constitutes acceptance of the Rules and Conditions (including modifications). The Club's decision is final and binding in all matters.
