Help Candis celebrate the achievements of families in Britain

This is the third year Candis has held its search for Britain's most outstanding families and we'd like your help. Do you know a family that is doing amazing things to help others? Maybe it's your own family that deserves recognition for making a difference in your community? This year we have introduced five categories so there are more opportunities to enter. The winning families will be invited to a once-in-a-lifetime award day at Knowsley Safari Park, including an exclusive, behind-the-scenes treat with the animals.

The Winners...

Five families will be invited to an exclusive once-in-a-lifetime day at Knowsley Safari Park on 23 August 2010. As well as enjoying a day at the park, families will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and meet some of the animals. Then it's on to a celebratory tea party at Knowsley Hall where each finalist will receive a Candis goody bag worth £500 before the overall winner will be announced.

This family will win an incredible all-inclusive holiday to the Aqua Fantasy Hotel & Aquapark in Kusadasi, Turkey, courtesy of First Choice. With the best pools from around the world brought together in one amazing waterpark, kids will love the fun slides and adventure river, while toddlers can potter on the pirate ship. For teens, there's wild 80km-an-hour water rides likes the Viper and 
X-treme. Parents can relax with a cocktail by the lagoon or stunning infinity pool, and there are also seven restaurants and 11 bars, plus evening entertainment, a private beach on the Aegean coast, and comfy bedrooms. Nearby, Kusadasi offers restaurants, shops and a traditional market where haggling is obligatory! This great resort has something for everyone - whatever their ages and tastes.

HOW TO ENTER

Decide which category you want to enter and submit your entry before 30th June 2010:

• The Fundraisers - for the family who work together to raise money for a good cause
• The Carers - for the family who foster, adopt or devote their time to caring for people with additional needs
• The Campaigners - for the family who work to change opinions, educate others, improve conditions or quality of life, at home or abroad
• The Health Heroes - for the family who've improved their own lives and the lives of others through being involved with healthy activity or sports
• The Community Champions - for families who have made a difference to the community

Because we want to know how your chosen family is making a difference, please include as much detail as you can about their achievements, struggles and goals. Include names and ages of everyone involved as well as email and telephone contact details of yourself and another nominated family member. The award is for an entire family - so tell us how everyone pulls together, not just one person's achievement. Any type or size of family can enter, though we do ask that more than one generation is involved.
