What is Candis?
Candis is one of Britain's best-selling women's monthly magazines, with a paid-for circulation of 254,420 (ABC Jan - Jun 2010). It has more subscribers than any other women's monthly, including Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Prima and Good Housekeeping. Each month it has features on health and lifestyle matters, relationships and consumer affairs, celebrity profiles and charity news.
There's also fiction, healthy family recipes, competitions, gardening ideas, travel, horoscopes and much more. It is published and distributed for Candis Club by Newhall Publications Ltd.
What is Candis Club?
Candis Club exists to promote social activities for its members, to provide them with membership benefits and to bring together people who are interested in supporting health charities. New members are recruited in venues (such as shopping centres) and at the door by Newhall's 100-plus strong national sales team.
Which charities does Candis support?
By purchasing Candis, you are helping to give money to health charities - in 2010 this will be over £1/3rd million.
Donations are made via Gift Aid to selected health charities. Of this donation, this year the Club will give Marie Curie Cancer Care £250,000 and Children's Hospices UK £85,000.
Why isn't Candis sold in newsagents?
Candis is small but perfectly formed. Small magazines tend to get lost on newsagents' shelves. Most importantly, Candis is only sold to members of Candis Club. If we sold Candis through supermarkets, service stations and newsagents it could be bought by people who aren't Club members.
How do I login to the new website?
It's as easy as 1,2,3!
1. Login using your email address and old password (usually your postcode) the first time you login.
2. You'll then be asked to create a new password.
3. Once you have set this up your login whenever you visit the Candis website will be your email address and new password.
What if I forget, and login using my membership number and password?
If you login using your membership number and password - which is how you logged into the old website - you will be able to login but you will be prompted to enter your email address and select a new password.
