Row 1 (RS): K2, *P2, K2, rep from * to end.

Row 2: P2, *K2, P2, rep from * to end.

These 2 rows form rib.

Work in rib for a further 14 rows, inc 0 [0: 0: 0: 1: 0:

1: 1] st at each end of last row and ending with RS

facing for next row.

86 [90: 94: 102: 108: 114: 120: 128] sts.

Change to 4mm (US 6) needles.

Now work in patt as folls:

Beg with a K row, work in st st for 6 rows, inc 1 st at

each end of 3rd of these rows.

88 [92: 96: 104: 110: 116: 122: 130] sts.

Work in g st for 6 rows, inc 1 st at each end of 3rd of

these rows and ending with RS facing for next row.

Cont in patt, shaping side seams by inc 1 st at each end
