People considering visiting Bournemouth on a family holiday will be able to choose from a wide selection of hotels and take part in great activities, according to one expert.
Peter Hampson, director at the British Resorts and Destinations Association, said that there are few holiday destinations in the UK which are better than Bournemouth or Poole, adding that most families will find something they like in both.
"Bournemouth tends more towards being a nice pleasant and slightly more upmarket traditional resort town whereas Poole tends to major on boating and water sports in the massive natural harbour area," he said.
The expert added that Bournemouth is a very well established British holiday resort and, because of that, people can expect to find helpful infrastructure to complement their trip.
According to a new campaign, the Coast with the Most, Bournemouth and Poole boast golden sands, eight blue flag beaches and a choice of more than 25 water sports all within ten miles, not to mention Europe's first artificial surf reef at Boscombe.
