People thinking about making home improvements to their property could use a mood board, according to one expert, whose suggestion might inspire those looking to improve their family life.
Bradford-born Linda Barker, who rose to prominence on the BBC's hit reality show Changing Rooms, said that people should collect pictures and looks from magazines so they can get a good idea of how they want a room to appear.
"It is about creating a look for themselves- designers will do it quite quickly and create a look book or a mood board. I really encourage people to do it for themselves in their own home," she stated.
Mood boards can be a great way of focusing ideas before making big changes to a property, according to Mrs Barker.
4Homes blog recently stated that the folk look will be big this year and encouraged readers to consider using natural materials to get good results.
More about family life.
