BE CANCER AWARE........ DOCTORS CARE!
This is advice I wish to share...........
Pat ignored this simple advice.
Felt embarrassed, her problem, not nice.
Didn't see the doc. for far too long
She got weaker, far less strong.
Left her problem sitting there.
Felt that none for her did care.
At long last she had to go
Had to see her doc., she felt so low.
Her problem was a lump you see.
A problem that could affect you or me.
In her breast was a lump, pea-sized.
Could be a 'nasty', she realized.
Didn't want it to be told to her
That she had the dreaded cancer.
At last, after much concern and worry,
Off to the doc. hoping not to be sorry,
Hoping not to be told life's end was nigh.
Worrying she gave great sigh.
The doc. he felt around a bit,
Nodded his head, then did sit.
"You have a cyst, nasty thing,
Needs some tablets to return your zing".
Silly Pat, all that worry, all that woe.
'Cause to her doc. she wouldn't go.
The moral of this tale you see,
Is that this could happen to you or me.
So my friend.............
BE CANCER AWARE..........DOCTORS CARE.
This is the advice I wished to share.
Know yourself, don't take fright.
Go off to the doc. and put things right.
