A Stormy Night

A stormy night

The wind is whistling round the walls,
Rain is rattling on the roof,
Leaves are rustling, rushing around,
Sweeping the windows,
Brushing the ground.
Thump, thwack! What was that?
Twigs cracking, snapping, spit spat.
Branches bending, creaks, groans,
Something sighing and gentle moans.
It's like being adrift on a stormy sea.
Who put this caravan under a tree?
