Oh vast panorama
Of cool, blue water!
Oh giant ocean
That beckons
And draws us
To her rolling shores,
Calling! Calling!
With a voice of waves
Crashing against
The ragged rocks
Whispering her secrets
through glistening spray.
She catches at the air
Like a playful kitten.
Dancing with the sunlight,
gently caressing the sand
With her foamy waters
before pulling back quickly
And receding from the shore
This mighty ocean
That gentle as a lamb can be
Soothing the soul
With her peace and tranquillity
Can yet
With sudden swiftness
Turn and change her face
To one so terrible
One so ferocious
That even the fighting wind
Gets lapped up
In her deadly fury
Battling against
her all consuming anger
as her waves roar out with a
Chorus of terror
Displaying her strength
With raging energy
Warning all who dare
To disrespect her
Powerful magnaminity
That she
is Queen!
