"I first started takingCandis from the beginning except that it was not candis then but a single sheet of paper called cancer and disability or something of the kind and was brought round to the house by a bloke in ashabby raincoat ...in those days Candis catered for both Men and Women and here comes my grouch !!! How come that the ladies Bless them, get all the coverage these days ??with all this fashion coverage? not a lot of good to a ninety year old bloke who remembers better Candis days !! I still enjoy the competitions , the internet comps etc. cos I have all the time in the world to do them in !!!"

"I am a bit behind with my reading and have just read the June issue of Candis and I am so impressed with "a Weighty Issue" it confirms so many theories we have had about food and contains excellent advise. I compared an own brand bran flakes after reading it and there ia more bran in the other cereals than in the bran flakes! Great magazine but it has not saved me money, as I use to pass it on to my daughter and realized it was too late for the monthly avctitvies, so I gave mine to my sister and ended up taking a subscription for her too!
