The Shearer family travelled all the way from Huntly, Scotland, to pick up their goody box and cheque at the Outstanding Family of the Year ceremony
Over 17 members of the Shearer family are involved in organising the annual Relay for Life event in Peterhead, near Aberdeen
The event is kicked off with a lap by those who have survived cancer, a poignant reminder of the importance of support from the Shearers and others to the work of Cancer Research UK
The Relay for Life event organised by the Shearers is always colourful, lively and fun
The event attracts teams and individual participants from all over Aberdeenshire
