Looking to get fit this year?
Why not get on your bike and raise money for charity too…
If you love cycling – what’s not to love about fresh air and seeing the British countryside? – then signing up for the British Heart Foundation’s iconic London to Brighton Bike Ride 2014 could be the goal for you. Registration for the charity challenge opened on 18 January.
This year’s ride takes place on Sunday, 15 June 2014. Now in it’s 39th year, the event sees more than 28,000 people getting on their saddles and pedalling 54 miles from Clapham Common in South London to the Brighton seafront.
The charity challenge has raised more than £60 million to fight coronary heart disease – the UK’s single biggest killer, which claims nearly 74,000 lives every year.
