If you suffer with a stiff neck and tried the exercises in our September issue, you can also release tension following these simple steps
Stand with your back up against a large flat wall, your head resting against the wall and your feet about 10cm (4in) away from the wall. Place the elbows, forearms and the backs of the hands and fingers on the wall with wrists about shoulder height. Keeping the arms, hands, head and fingers all touching the wall as close as possible, slowly slide your hands above the head and slowly back down. Repeat 10 times, 3-5 times per day.
