Machinations Visitor Centre in Llanbrynmair, Powys has its very own rabbit village. Multiple generations of bunnies live in a miniature bunny village providing endless entertainment for little ones and their mums and dads! There’s also a family-friendly cafe onsite for any refreshments and recharging of batteries and a big Play Barn with climbing equipment, slide, soft area for little ones, bouncy balls, large and small.

Open all year round 9.30am-4.30pm from 50p per person entry, extra for the Play Barn.


The Coral Seas tank at the National Marine AquariumNational Marine Aquarium, Coxside, Plymouth

There’s lots to do at the National Marine Aquarium this Easter including special Ocean Easter Egg Hunts until 20 April and more activities arranged around “eggs with a difference”. There are workshops for all ages including art and photography, behind the scenes tours and members only activities on offer. The Waves cafe is open daily and offers a selection of hot and cold meals and sandwiches.

ASTON  HALL  3 (41)Easter at Aston Hall, Birmingham

On Saturday 12 April, Birmingham Museum’s heritage sites will reopen for 2014, giving visitors of all ages the chance to explore and discover more about the region’s incredible cultural history. Throughout the Easter holidays (12-27 April), there will be a host of family events and activities. From egg hunts and bonnet making, to sword-fighting and circus skills, there is plenty to entertain and inspire the whole family. Aston Hall offers visitors the chance to roam one of the city’s finest Jacobean buildings and discover its rich history since it was built in 1635. And on Sunday 13 April, visitors can celebrate ‘Glorious Aston’ with circus skills, magic shows and sword fighting displays.
