Family holidays help with bonding process

The traditional family holiday is an important part of life for most broods, according to an expert, who said that time away from working life helps people to bond.

Lucy Ace, managing director of Takethefamily.com, said that although the culture of family holidays is changing, with people opting to take several shorter breaks, rather than one large one, it is still just as important.

She stated: “It is important to take a break from domestic life and spend quality time together away from everyday stresses and pressures even if just for a weekend or a couple of days.”

The expert added that budget airlines are making it easier for the brood to get away on a break abroad as part of their family life.
