Our tester tried on 13 pairs in her quest to find jeans that flattered her broad hips and 31in leg. The most common issue is jeans that fit hips and thighs are usually too big at the waist, so these were her top three finds…

The fit is exceptional with this pair sitting comfortably at the waist, eliminating muffin tops and creating a neat silhouette instead. These smart-looking, dark blue jeans fitted perfectly around the waist, bum and thighs, while the standard length was long enough to wear with heels, making them great for day and evening wear.

3. Fabulous budget buy…

Soft to touch, the denim has lots of give so they’re really comfy. They also have an adjustable, hidden elastic waistband that eliminates gaps at the back, while the shaped high pockets give the illusion of a perkier rear.
