200g (7oz) Jordans Crunchy Oat Granola Fruit and Nut
15g (1/2oz) butter
4 eating apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
4 tablespoons water
50g (2oz) flaked almonds
250g (9oz) marzipan, coarsely grated
Whipped cream, ice cream, crème fraiche or custard, to serve

1 Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan oven 160°C, Gas Mark 4. Use the butter to grease a deep baking dish
2 Arrange half the apple slices in the base of the dish and add 2 tablespoons of water. Scatter half the almonds, half the grated marzipan and half the Jordans Crunchy Oat Granola over the top. Repeat the layers
3 Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden. Serve with whipped cream, ice cream, crème fraiche or custard

Cook’s tips:

• Slice the apples thinly so that they cook until tender. If you prefer, use 2 large baking apples instead to make a delicious apple pudding
• Another time, use Jordans Crunchy Oat Granola Raisin and Almond instead of Fruit and Nut for a tasty raisin pudding
• If the marzipan is quite soft, chill it in the fridge before grating it
