Butterscotch Apples

Serve warm with crème fraiche spooned over!

BUTTERSCOTCH APPLES150g Jordans Creations Apple and Cinnamon Muesli 4 Granny Smith apples
40g butter
40g Demerara sugar
A squeeze of lemon juice
Half fat crème fraiche, to serve


1. Combine the butter and sugar over gentle heat, until the sugar is nearly dissolved and the butter melted – about 5 minutes.2. Meanwhile, cut the apples into wedges. Add these to the pan, and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Squeeze over the lemon juice. Remove from the heat and add the muesli.

3. Serve warm with crème fraiche spooned over, along with the pan juices, and extra muesli if desired.
