Tamzin’s Taramasalata and Watercress Pitta

A healthy alternative to the traditional pitta

Serves 1, Prep: 5 mins

Taramasalata and Watercress Pitta


1 wholemeal pitta bread
4 tbsp Taramasalata dip
A handful of watercress
A few sticks of cucumber to serve


1. Lightly toast the pitta bread. Use a knife to slit the pitta down one side and open out to make a pocket – careful as there will be lots of steam. Cool slightly then cut in half.
2. Spread the Taramasalata inside the pitta, fill with watercress and serve
