Spicy Turkey Burger with TOTAL Greek Yoghurt Salsa

Not only does the yoghurt act as a great bonding agent, but mixed with the tomatoes, onion and cucumber, it also forms a deliciously creamy salsa – the perfect accompaniment for the spicy burger!

Serves: 4

SPICY BURGERIngredients: 

500g Minced turkey
1 Red onion (diced)
1tsp Chilli flakes
100g White bread crumbs
100g TOTAL Greek yoghurt
1tsp Oregano
4 Sesame rolls or Ciabatta Rolls
Salt & pepper to taste
For the salsa
100g TOTAL Greek Yoghurt
½ Cucumber diced
4 English vine tomatoes (diced)
2 Spring onions (chopped)
Salt & pepper to taste


1. Mix the yoghurt and breadcrumbs together and add the oregano, chilli flakes, red onion and mix in the turkey to form a burger mix. Season to taste.

2. Divide the mixture into four and shape into burger patties. Chill for 20 minutes.

3. For the salsa, mix all the ingredients together, season to taste and chill.

To Serve:

Lightly oil the turkey patties and chargrill on a BBQ until cooked through (alternatively – grill the patties on a medium heat). Place the patties to one side and toast the rolls on the barbeque, adding the burgers to rolls when done. Finally, spoon on the delicious TOTAL Greek Yoghurt salsa and devour!
