Are you joining the Children in Need ‘BearFaced Day’?
This year, Children in Need are shouting out to all us ladies to do our bit for charity and dare to bare our faces, makeup free!
While this will surely send a chill down the spines of many, I think it's quite a quirky event and one which any of us could easily do to raise a little money.
Family and friends have already passed me a few quid in sponsorship and hopefully I can raise at least £50 for this worthy cause.
Celebrities have already got involved and braved the bare-faced look, going au natural for the camera.
Lulu, Louise Redknapp, Countryfile presenter Julia Bradbury, Heidi Klum and Sian Williams have each tried it and in my opinion they look even more stunning than usual!
Also, please make sure to check out Caroline Flack's lack of makeup. She really does look beautiful – so good on her!
BearFaced Day seems like a really great time to give my skin a rest as well, especially as during the colder months I seem to pile on the foundation and powder without thinking.
Hopefully my eyelashes will also enjoy a break from all the mascara I can't seem to resist reapplying!
Also, not applying my face will save me plenty of time in the morning, meaning I can spend a little extra time in bed.
To raise as much money as possible, I think it'd be best to attempt it in a group and try and get some of the girls in the office involved too.
I imagine some will be reluctant at first, but when I show them my sponsorship form and hand out some Pudsey ears then I'm sure they'll soon get into the spirit of the day!
Hopefully I won't get too many sideways looks on the day, but I really am looking forward to embracing being a natural beauty for the day.
Will you be going makeup free for BearFaced Day on November 9th?
