July pegStep By Step

.Take the two pieces of the wooden peg apart from the metal spring. Lay out on a resistant surface and spritz with ink on each side. When dry, construct back together.

.Choose a full suit decoupage image from the A4 page, an image of just the outer jacket and a bowtie. pop all three out and trim the full suit image down to fit the width of the flat side of the peg. Adhere with hot glue.

.Trim around the two sides of a jacket and overlap the button/button hole sections. Glue the two halfs together and trim down to the width of the peg again. Place aside.

.Trim a piece of striped paper to fit the bottom half of the peg. Glue on and adhere the jacket piece over the top, in line with the jacket image underneath.

.Make a small slit in the jacket pocket with a craft knife and feed the end of a length of twine into it, using a small amount of wet glue to keep secure. Tie the other end of the twine through the handle of a die-cut pocket watch. Glue the watch on to the peg, over the trouser area.

.Finish by adding small buttons to the jacket, a bowtie with foam pads and a sentiment over the jacket/trouser join line.
