Last word with Rosemary Conley

Since launching her hip and thigh diet in 1986, Rosemary Conley, 62, has become one of the UK’s leading diet and fitness experts. She lives in Leicestershire with her husband and business partner, Mike Rimmington, 48, and dog, Wiase.

What’s your earliest memory?

Having my photograph taken standing on a ladder when I was three. My mother was very keen on family photographs. I’m grateful for that now, as I have to be photographed a lot and I’m very happy in front of the camera.

What did you want to grow up to be when you were a child?

A bus conductor! As a child I had a little bus conductor’s play kit with a little machine that you clicked to give the ticket and it really captured my imagination.
